Ambassador (Sponsorship) Program: for New York businesses, corporations, associations and organizations.
Part one: Ambassadors sign on to use the HFCQ logo and to promote the statewide Quadricentennial efforts in any way they can. They will be listed as Ambassadors on all public materials including the ExploreNY400 website.
> All Ambassadors must complete and return the Ambassador Agreement and Logo Agreement.
> All Ambassadors will receive the Ambassador Packet including Explore 400 pins, poster, literature and flags when applicable.
Part Two: If the Ambassadors wish to make an investment in our "Portfolio of Projects", we will work to connect them with one that suits their interest and budget.

Explore NY 400 Community Program: this program is for municipalities and community groups of all kinds. Communities sign on as partners sharing the logo and promoting the Quadricentennial in their community. They will be listed in our published materials and on our website.
> All Communities are asked to pass a resolution as a community partner and send us a copy.
> Communities are asked to sign and return the logo agreement.
> Communities will receive a community packet including pins, and a flag. The logo will be sent electronically.

Portfolio of Projects: this program is for public and private entities who are seeking supplemental financial support for Quadricentennial programs, projects, events and celebrations from private funders.
> Complete and return the "Portfolio of Projects" program form.
> Send the above with a one-page proposal for your project.
* We will attempt to match your proposal to private funders in our Ambassador Program. This will not constitute a pledge or promise of success. We are committed to a year of successful commemorations of the New York 400th and want to assist you in being part of this celebration.
Community Mini-grant Program: this program is for start up or seed funding for Quadricentennial projects, or funding for small Quadricentennial projects, programs, events and celebrations that are not eligible for small funding needs.
> Complete and return the Community Mini-grant form on our web site and send it to us by the deadline of April 30, 2008.
> When you are funded, please give us brief descriptions of your project and updates so that we can post these on our website.
Community Mini-Grant Application
Hudson-Fulton-Champlain Quadricentennial (HFCQ) Grant Program: Applications will be accepted through September 3, 2008 for HFCQ grant projects located entirely within NYS, within the Champlain Valley, the Hudson Valley, the New York Habor vicinity (including the five boroughs) or more specifically within the confines of the following counties: Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Greene, Columbia, Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Washington, Warren, Essex and Clinton. Funding in the amount of $1,000,000 is currently available from the Environmental Protection Fund for HFCQ grants. The HFCQ grant program specifically seeks to achieve or support the following or similar types of projects: museum and/or cultural institution exhibits; musicc and performing arts performances; sporting and/or outdoor events; films and documentaries; educational and/or curriculum projects; or publications and book projects. Eligible applicants may request funding at the minimum amount of $1,000 up to the maximum amount of $50,000. Matching funds are not required.
