Montreal Fringe Festival
The Montreal Fringe Festival is definitely one of the greatest and most unique hot summer events taking place, giving you unequaled sense of local community.
Huge social gatherings combined with executing arts do battle every year during June in the Mile-End for this special event associated with creative imagination and no limitations or restrictions.
Over 700 neighborhood show include comedy, music, theater, and dance.
Named the St-Ambroise Montreal Festival, the event is actually bilingual, and presents local, regional, nationwide and worldwide great performers.
More than 500 artists come especially for this unique event in Montreal!
Fringe is actually a movement. It’s a phenomenon during which you can do anything whatsoever.
You have the possibility to become a performer, a user, a critic, a volunteer, and much more.
The Fringe Festival features the best and worst, because boundaries and rules of conduct are practically nonexistent. Programming is largely the result of chance.
Participants are adventurous artists, and in conjunction with our marketing system performance, they have nothing to lose.
There is a freedom of expression that stirs the blood and makes you want to change the world. Luckily, this is badly needed these days.
Fringe loves to believe in equal possibilities, creative freedom, ease of access, and inexpensive admission costs.
For 2011, approximately 65,000 Fringe lovers took part in the Mile-End, featuring 22 years of tradition honoring visual arts, dance, theater, international artists and music.
This year, to bring forward the multidisciplinary aspect of the event, everything was prepared on the subject of discovery. We put on stage an audience with multiple expressions.
“The Fringe team has been built specifically to the reflection process, and all the work of creation took place in a collaborative way,” says Patrick Williams, creative director.
Fringe is a festival where everyone can participate and which brings together multiple elements: dance, performance, theater, and music.
The theme of discovery lent itself well.
Over 3,500 posters will be placed in Montreal. The offensive also decide on T-shirts and other promotional items such as beer glasses and reusable items.
Over the years and through many editions, the Fringe, which succeeds again and again to stay edgy and decidedly atypical, stirs the heart of Montreal.
The festival also retains a strong cultural aorta, with St. Laurent Boulevard, the main transmission belt of our city, connecting to the wider world.
Eccentric, quirky, and endearing, this great theatrical and playful burst is now an essential facet of the rich experience that provides the Main to the faithful as its visitors.
The Fringe is the guardian of authenticity throughout Montreal, beating the rhythm of a global non-conformism.
Well done, and Bravo to the Montreal Fringe Festival for all these years of festival madness!
The specific urban diversity that you can find from the Plateau helps it to be one of the most wonderful areas to invite people.
It continues to be a growing bilingual environment of incredible, progressive, and gifted theater men and women living here and in other countries.
This is what makes up the Fringe Festival.
